Race kit claiming on February 17

Race kits can be claimed at the Saud Municipal Beach Activity Hall from 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018. 

Please bring a valid government ID and your registration confirmation (for online registration) or proof of payment (for instore registration).

Proxies must present an authorization letter and photocopy of the participant's valid government ID. No ID, no race kit.

Race briefing and welcome dinner shall be conducted on the same day at 5 pm at the Saud Municipal Beach. 


Bring your own refillable hydration bottle or running vest. This is mandatory for all participants in all distances.

PET bottles will be allowed but these will be marked with the participant's race number and MUST BE DISPOSED OF AT THE FINISH LINE ONLY. 

Avoid throwing away empty bottles on the trail in order to avoid disqualification.

Keep the trails clean at all times.

No littering allowed on the trail. Carry your trash with you at all times. 

All gels, bars and other forms of nutrition will be marked and counted during race check-in prior to race start. Empty wrappers must be disposed of at the finish line only.

If the number of wrappers does not match the count at race check-in, the participant is subject to disqualification.

The weather is unpredictable. Be prepared.

The weather in Pagudpud varies at this time of the year. Pack a light rain jacket that you can carry with you. While not a requirement, it is highly recommended.

Arrive early

Land travel from Laoag to Pagudpud takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes. But  because it is a long weekend, we are expecting heavier traffic on the road. Give yourself plenty of time to arrive in Pagudpud so you have time to enjoy the local scene.

Medical Clearance

Medical clearance is required for 14km and 27km runners.

Runners who have joined a trail run of similar distance in the past 3 months can present proof of completion (race results) In lieu of a medical certificate.

If you can't get a certificate before your departure for Pagudpud, don't worry.

A medical team will be at the race kit claiming venue on February 17, 2018 to conduct medical check-ups for free. This will also serve as medical clearance.
